Do I really care if you have too much time on your hands?

It's actually kind of a fun thing to think about...your hands and time on your hands!
Everyone is busy on Facebook posting messages all the time and writing fan letters. Do I really care? Not really! If they play video games all day, do I care? Not really...What people do in their spare time doesn't really effect my life...it's their business. If they have too much time on their hands, so what? Do I really care? Should I? Hope they are having some fun...guess right this minute I have a little time on my hands! Is that anyone's business...it's Friday night and as they say on television...this is Entertainment Tonight!
Just got too much time on your hands?

We're a multi-cultural group...let's join hands!

Halloween's coming soon...these are my hands!

Give us a hand!

All of us!

It's important to keep those hands clean!

Keystone Kops - Keystone Hotel

I just love the Keystone Kops...I know that this is a silent film...Sorry this clip doesn't have any music :(

And on this day...

On this day...September 23, 1912, Mack Sennett actually released his first Keystone Cops!

Believe it or not...this year (98 years later), the previously lost short A Thief Catcher was rediscovered at an antique sale in Michigan The short, filmed in 1914, stars Ford Sterling, Mack Swain, Edgar Kennedy, and Al St. John and includes a previously unknown cameo with Charlie Chaplin as a Keystone KopIn 2010, the previously lost short A Thief Catcher was rediscovered at an antique sale in Michigan. Do you know what a Dymaxion house is?

There were only two prototypes of these homes designed by Buckminister Fuller...there is one at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan...I have seen it and have to tell you how amazing it is! It's totally amazing that the Dymaxion was completed during 1929 after two years of development, and later redesigned during 1945. These were to be factory kits to help the after the war.

* I don't know why I was thinking about this lately...but it's amazing! If you ever get a chance to see it make sure you do, I've seen it a few times on my visits to Greenfield Village (which is where the Henry Ford Museum is in the Detroit suburbs)...it's totally fabulous!

Chartreuse

Chartreuse has always been my favorite color...just ask about anyone, it's crazy! I've always been nuts for it and most people can't stand it. Julie loves it too! I just thought I would mention this to you because I just drove all the way to Beverly Hills this afternoon to the PaperSource this afternoon because they have everything you have ever seen in your life in chartreuse. We had to have large chartreuse envelopes and I made that journey in the Los Angeles traffic!...it was worth it!
Now for any of you who don't really know what this fantastic color is...

Chartreuse is a color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueur called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764

oh really in chartreuse?
I also thought I might show you a few beautiful chartreuse photographs too (it always is a fun thing to do!)

I love this chartreuse door!!

chartreuse lichen (who knew?)

beautiful chartreuse roses!!!

I just found one that is just perfect! check this out...
If you wish to preserve your secret, wrap it up in frankness.
Well I don't know what this really means but frankly it doesn't matter the Frankly Speaking Girls (Julie & me) think it's pretty fun!
this was not a yellow submarine!

So I was in Los Angeles at some appointments today & this is the car parked in front of me...what's this about? Too bad I didn't get my car in the picture too it was a totally amazing visual!

Sometimes all we do is complain...or is it "kvetch?"
That's what's she's doing wearing the shmatas!...but it's ok when it's your birthday to be immature enough on your day to whine! Go for it!...
What's for dinner? ...matzo ball soup, general tso's chicken & maybe chocolate cake for dessert???

Can't believe I'm actually doing this!

I never thought I would be blogging...but here I am! Julie and I have had so much fun creating this company & love what we do that we just want to share it with you. We can't have all the fun for ourselves!
We've collected hundreds & hundreds...maybe more (there is no end to the boxes of vintage photographs we have in this place...it's just crazy!) We just can't get enough! It all started out with the Parisian photos and then moved on to the family photographs and then....
We want to share with you some of the fun things that will be happening with us. News to us will definitely be news to you!
If there is a fun new card that we produce we might even show it to you first...
Who knows what you are going to find on this blog...restaurant reviews? cool new recipe? maybe some of my crazy pictures, and definitely vintage pictures!

P.S.  The image on this card is me and my brother Charlie a "million years" ago!
